This week, Dr. Shannon Fuller, superintendent of Pilot Point ISD and Rotary club member, presented regarding the upcoming bond election for the ISD.

Dr. Fuller reviewed the growth of the ISD and of Pilot Point, and conveyed information to the club about how the bond was developed.

This bond is a growth bond, so bonds will be sold as the city grows. The Bond proposed is $295 million, and includes new construction of a high school and elementary school, as well as renovations to existing campus buildings that address each facility's usage and age. The tax impact is projected to be an additional 30 cents on top of the current 20 cent tax rate.
