Jenna was promoted to Library Director earlier this month after the retirement of former director Wendy Turner. Jenna had been with the Library for two years, serving as the head of programming.

The Pilot Point Library offers vital services to our community, including checkout of materials from books, audiobooks, DVDs and games. Anyone who is a resident of Denton County or Tioga can obtain a library card for free by filling out an application from the Library.

Jenna spoke about the various ways to get involved with the Library, including volunteer opportunities with the Friends of the Pilot Point Library, who are instrumental in assisting with the Summer Reading Program.

The Program will launch this year on May 31 with a kickoff party and a sundae bar from 11a - 1p. The program will run through July, with programming throughout the week for ages ranging from preschool through adults. This year, the program will also allow adults to participate in the Summer Reading Program! Prizes for summer reading program participants include books to gift cards and eReaders!
